The automatic blocker further protects Galaxy devices, affirming Samsung's commitment to security and privacy.

One UI 6.0 is finally officially released, bringing many changes to Galaxy devices. In particular, an Automatic Blocker is added to increase the security of devices.

According to Samsung, Security Blocker is an extension of additional security tools and is not required. This feature's settings page has a few options that users can turn on/off at will.

The feature to block app installation from unlicensed sources has been moved to the new settings page and is disabled by default. This is a big change compared to previous versions of One UI. By default, you will no longer be blocked from installing apps from third-party sources like before.

You can now use third-party sources of your choice to install applications with the understanding that this is not always safe. This option acts as a deterrent to the rise of technical attacks such as voice phishing, where attackers can convince users to install malware.

The automatic blocker also provides application security testing to check third-party programs as well as the ability to block commands sent via USB. When Samsung Auto Blocker is enabled using the toggle at the top of the page, all three features will be activated at the same time.

Below that is the Advanced section with many tools that can be individually turned on and off, including Message Guard - which helps protect users from Zero Click attacks and malicious code in messages.

The automatic blocker is available for any Galaxy device running One UI 6.0. This update is currently rolling out globally.
