The Galaxy Watch 5 series is trying to catch up with the Galaxy Watch 6 series in the One UI Beta Program. Last week, Samsung rolled out the eighth beta of One UI Watch 6 for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. As a result, the company has shifted its focus to the Galaxy Watch 5 series today.

The Beta Operations Manager on the official Community Forum in Korea has revealed that the seventh beta of One UI 6 Watch is now rolling out for the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Those who participated in the One UI Beta Program for the Galaxy Watch 5 series in Korea have already downloaded the latest beta.

The seventh beta of One UI 6 Watch for the Galaxy Watch 5 series appears to have a similar changelog as the eighth beta for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. However, it is also possible that Samsung has not provided a new changelog yet.

Assuming the changelog is indeed the same between the two betas, the latest beta for the Galaxy Watch 5 series:

  • System stability;
  • Performance optimization;
  • Improved battery life;
  • Improved network connectivity for some carriers (LTE options);
  • Miscellaneous improvements.
