Samsung has made major improvements to the camera in the February 2024 security update. However, there are still some camera issues that have not been fixed and they will likely be improved soon in the April update.

Big camera improvements coming to the Galaxy S24 with the April 2024 update

According to a report from Tipster Ice Universe, Samsung will release a major software update for the Galaxy S24 series in April 2024 to fix some lingering camera issues. It covers issues related to white balance and image quality from the telephoto camera sensor.

Currently, the S24's camera works well at up to 9.9x zoom, delivering higher image quality than photos taken at 10x zoom. This issue will likely be resolved in the April 2024 software update. Some other camera flaws on the Galaxy S24 are that photos are sometimes overexposed, causing highlights to be lost. and the problem of the white balance of images being too warm. They will probably all be fixed in an upcoming update.

In addition, the problem of sometimes images taken from the Galaxy S24 being super dark has been discovered and Samsung also confirmed that it will resolve that in the future. Hopefully, the April update will also include a fix for that issue.
