Normally, Samsung will release new updates for high-end phones, before reaching mid-range phones. However, even though the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 have both received One UI 6.0 Beta, Galaxy S22 users still have to continue waiting for the update. Thankfully, the product line has finally begun testing new software.
The One UI 6.0 Beta update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra was rolled out in Korea today, after a long wait. It is codenamed S908NKSU3ZWIA / S908NOKR3ZWIA / S908NKSU3DWI8, weighs around 3GB, and comes with the September 2023 security patch. Other eligible countries include China, Germany, India, Poland, the US, and the UK. The UK will also receive the update in the next few days.
If you're using any Galaxy S22 series device in one of the above countries and want to participate in testing the new software, go to the Samsung Members app, then look for the One UI ad banner 6.0 Beta, click, and register. After successful registration, you can receive the update and install it easily.
One UI 6.0 brings new features and improvements, including a redesigned quick panel that's cleaner and easier to navigate. The lock screen can also change the position of the clock, font, etc... The emoticons have also been redesigned by Samsung to be very eye-catching and modern.
