The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has finally joined the list of Galaxy phones that have received the October 2024 security update.

The latest update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has already been rolled out in Europe and will soon be coming to other markets around the world. You can identify it by the baseband version F741BXXS1AXI3. There are over 30 security vulnerabilities in Android and One UI that have been patched.

To manually download the latest update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, open the Settings app, scroll down to Software Update, and tap Download and Install. The download size is around 400MP, so it's best to use Wi-Fi to download the update.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 was launched three months ago. So it's no surprise that this update is only aimed at fixing security vulnerabilities. Both the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 come with One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 out of the box. They will be updated to One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 early next year.
