As expected, Samsung will release two new wireless headset models (Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro) in the second half of this year. At least one of the two products will be announced at the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10 in Paris. A new report claims the Galaxy Buds 3 series will have many big changes.
Galaxy Buds 3 may feature a new design, larger battery, and improved ANC
According to a report from ChosunMedia, Samsung will use a new design for the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Since the original product's release, every Galaxy Buds model has looked pretty much like a bean. However, with Galaxy Buds 3, Samsung will change the overall shape of the product to "significantly improve" active noise cancellation (ANC) and sound quality.
The call quality of Galaxy Buds is not as good as AirPods. AirPods headphones have a tail that helps bring the microphone closer to the user's mouth. Therefore, Samsung planned to change the design of the Galaxy Buds line. In other words, Samsung's wireless headphones may also have a design similar to that of AirPods. Of course, this is just a rumor; nothing is certain.
Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could be equipped with AI
The report also claims that the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will have a few more AI features. It should be noted that the current generation Galaxy Buds series has been equipped with several AI features. However, to cram more AI into the product, Samsung's wireless headphones need a larger battery. The current design language does not allow the company to do that. This may be another reason why Samsung is considering changing the design of the Galaxy Buds 3 series.
