The One UI 7 Beta Program was expected to start in late July 2024. However, it was postponed as the company wanted to prioritize the release of One UI 6.1.1. Now, it seems that Samsung is finally ready to launch the One UI 7 Beta Program as it has released an update to the Samsung Members app.

Samsung Members updated for One UI 7 Beta Program

Users need to use Samsung Members to enroll in the One UI Beta Program. Therefore, the fact that Samsung released an update to the app suggests that the first beta release of One UI 7.0 is approaching. Samsung Members version 5.1.00.11 can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store.

However, Samsung has not mentioned anything in the changelog for the new version of Samsung Members. However, the app could be updated to be ready for the One UI 7 Beta Program, which will start soon.

What can you expect from One UI 7.0?

One UI 7.0 is based on Android 15. Leaks suggest that the new software will overhaul the interface with new native app icons, separate Quick Panel and Notifications, and smoother animations. The update could also bring a feature similar to Dynamic Island on the iPhone, a new battery icon, and a new charging animation.

A previous report claimed that Samsung will revamp the Camera app interface to improve one-handed usability. One UI 7.0 could also bring new widgets for the home and lock screens, large app folders, and a new unlock screen animation.
