More than a week has passed since Samsung started rolling out the official One UI 6.0 update to its devices. Currently, only the Galaxy S23 has been released. However, with sales of more than 15 million units sold worldwide, this product line alone has brought joy to many users.

The best features of One UI 6.0 (Android 14)
While One UI 6.0 has a lot of new features and improvements, here are three of the most valuable upgrades of this update.
New layout of the Quick Panel
This can be said to be the most notable change in the interface on One UI 6.0. The new layout of the Quick Panel makes it easier for users to access and set up the most commonly used features. For example, you can toggle Bluetooth on and off, and Wi-Fi is brought to the top with a dedicated button. Other less frequently used features like Eye Comfort Protection or Dark Mode have been moved to the bottom.
Improved notification sorting
Most phone apps come with push notifications, making notification control and monitoring a concern. With One UI 6.0, managing notifications is easier by allowing sorting by time. Thanks to that, users will not worry about new notifications being hidden behind older notifications.
Record calls with Bixby
One UI 6.0's Bixby Text feature makes it easier to record calls. Once activated, it will convert call content to text. You can even type a response in text format and then play it back to the caller using Bixby's voice. Previously, Bixby Text could only be enabled before receiving a call, but now you can enable it even while on a call.
Samsung is expected to release One UI 6.0 to more devices in the coming days. It's likely that the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip will be the next smartphone models to receive this update, before the Galaxy S22's turn. If you own any Galaxy device that is eligible for One UI 6.0, you can expect to experience this new interface just before the end of 2023.
