The Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra have just received their first software update since they went on sale last week.

The update for the Galaxy Watch 7 is codenamed L310XXU1AXG2 and is 173.51MB in size. Meanwhile, the update for the Galaxy Watch Ultra is codenamed L705FXXU1AXFB and is 330.59MB in size. If you are using these devices, try checking by opening the Galaxy Wearable app, going to Watch Settings > Software update > Download and Install.

According to Samsung's official changelog, the new update brings bug fixes, improved device stability, and improved performance for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Unfortunately, there are no details about these improvements.

The Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, which were launched in early July, are also the first smartwatches to run Wear OS 5. Notable features of this update include Energy Score, improved sleep tracking, reduced power consumption during workout tracking, and personalized health tips and recommendations powered by Galaxy AI.

Samsung's older smartwatches including the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 are also now receiving the One UI 6.0 Watch Beta in select countries. The stable version is expected to be released for these devices before the end of August 2024.
