Samsung is actively rolling out the stable One UI 7 update to its premium devices, and the Galaxy Tab S8 series is one of them. Recently, the Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G appeared on the Geekbench database, showing that the device is running Android 15, suggesting that users will soon be able to experience this latest software version.

Normally, Samsung releases the One UI Beta program for its latest devices and some older models. However, with One UI 7, it seems that the company has changed its strategy, not expanding the beta program to older devices. According to recent reports, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and some Galaxy A series devices will not receive the One UI 7 Beta. This makes the Galaxy S24 series the only series participating in this beta program.

However, the appearance of the Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G running Android 15 on Geekbench is a sign that Samsung will quickly release a stable One UI 7 for this tablet line. According to this database, the performance of the Galaxy Tab S8+ on Geekbench reached 1733 points in single-core and 3953 points in multi-core.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 series is expected to come with One UI 7 based on Android 15 pre-installed at the time of sale, after being launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025.
