Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 along with the Galaxy Tab S9 series as well as the Galaxy Watch6 at the Galaxy Unpacked event held in its home country.

Galaxy S23+

It is expected that their next flagships will be in the Galaxy S24 series and launch early next year. Samsung is likely to launch three phones in this line, namely Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Today, the "Plus" variant has just been spotted on the performance measurement website Geekbench with a few key specifications.

Galaxy S24+ appears on Geekbench

As you can see in the image above, the Galaxy S24+ variant that appeared on Geekbench has the model number SM-S926U, indicating that this is the variant for the US market. The listing shows that this phone will use a Snapdragon chip codenamed "pineapple". This SoC has the Adreno 750 GPU, an upgraded version of the Adreno 740 GPU currently found in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Therefore, it is almost certain that the Galaxy S24+ will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
This processor has quite a different clustering setup than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Specifically, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC has a maximum clock speed of 3.30 GHz for the main core. It also has three cores clocked at 3.15 GHz and two more cores clocked at 2.96 GHz. The lower-clocked cores have a clock speed of 2.27 GHz.

Chipset specifications of Galaxy S24+

In addition to the details about the SoC, the listing also reveals details about the RAM and software of the upcoming Galaxy S24+. The variant of the phone listed on Geekbench has 8GB of RAM. We can expect Samsung to launch the phone with 12GB of RAM and at least 256GB of storage.

The device has been spotted on Geekbench with the latest Android 14 operating system. In terms of performance, the Galaxy S24+ scored 2,223 and 6,661 in Geekbench 6's single-core and multi-core tests.
