Samsung has started rolling out the November 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 series in South Korea. This is an important update for anyone who wants to participate in the One UI Beta Program. You won't be able to participate in the program if you don't install this update on your device.
The Galaxy S24 series gets November 2024 security update before the first One UI 7.0 beta is released
A new software update is rolling out to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in South Korea with the baseband version S92xNKSU4AXK4. The November security update fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities. The changelog doesn't mention any other improvements other than security.
If you live in South Korea and own a Galaxy S24, you can check if your device has been updated by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software Update, and selecting Download some settings.
One UI 7.0 is based on Android 15. The update separates the Notification shade and Quick Panel into two separate pages. Notifications also have more rounded corners. The battery indicator and charging animation have also been refreshed.
Finally, Samsung has redesigned the stock app icons and added new widgets to the home and lock screens.
