Samsung has released a new One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series. This is the second firmware update for users in Germany, South Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and the first update for markets like India and Poland. The update brings a number of important improvements and fixes a number of bugs from the previous version.
List of fixed issues
The new beta (build number ZXL5) focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements for a variety of features. Some notable issues addressed include:
- Fixed persistent display and glitches after closing the Now Bar
- Fixed personal app drawer display issue
- Fixed an issue where wireless connection to some TV products via Dex was not possible
- Fixed an issue where the reminder widget transparency could not be applied (requires an app update)
- Improved slow switching between apps on the recent screen
- Improved input speed for smart select in the edge panel
- Improved intermittent reset issue when using power saving mode
- Improved GPS functionality
- Fixed Quick Panel operation issue
- Added an option to set the screen refresh rate in the game booster
- Fixed call ending and Samsung F/C messaging app errors
- Fixed a background color off issue for the weather widget
- Fixed a WiFi/NFC connection issue when setting it as a habit
- More improvements
In addition to the bug fixes, Samsung also added many performance and feature improvements to bring a better user experience. However, the beta is still in the development stage, so there may be some bugs that exist or arise during use.
