Galaxy S21 was launched nearly three years ago but is still a product line worth owning with stable performance. They come pre-installed with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 at the time of release and have been upgraded to Android 12 and Android 13 later. Now, Samsung continues to release the One UI 6.0 update based on Android 14 for the Galaxy S21 series.

Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra users say they have started receiving One UI 6.0. The update was initially rolled out in Europe with the codename G99xBXXU9FWK2. It is 2.28GB in size and comes with the November 2024 security patch. Other countries and regions are also expected to be able to download this update soon.

If you are using any device from the Galaxy S21 series, try checking for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

One UI 6.0 brings many new features and improvements, such as a new Quick Settings panel interface, lock screen and notification panel, new Studio video editing app, and new automatic blocker to protect the phone along with many other changes.

Samsung promises four Android updates for the Galaxy S21 series. Android 14 is the third update, so users of the series can expect the last major update next year.
