Samsung is bringing the latest security patch to more Galaxy devices. The company has just released the June security update for international variants of Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy A52s and Galaxy A42 5G. Additionally, the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE in the US have also received the update.

The June security patch for the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE has been released globally

Earlier this month, Samsung released the June security patch for the Galaxy S21 FE in the United States. Network-locked devices receive the update first. The company has now released this update globally, including in Asia and Europe.

In Europe, the June security update for the Galaxy S21 FE has a Baseband version of G990BXXS8GXF1. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 FE in Taiwan and Hong Kong received software with Baseband version G9900ZHS8GXF1. Finally, the Baseband version on other devices in Asia is G990EXXS9FXF1. Although there are different versions of Baseband, this update only brings the latest security patches from Samsung and Google.

Accordingly, the June update fixes 37 high-level vulnerabilities from Google. These vulnerabilities appear in core services and related components. Besides, Samsung has patched 22 security flaws in One UI, including one critical level vulnerability.

The above 59 security patches are also being deployed to the Galaxy S20 FE in certain markets. The update is now available for 4G options in Europe, Asia, and Australia with Baseband version G780GXXSAEXF1. In addition, the 5G option in the United States can also be updated.

Galaxy A52s and A42 5G are also being updated

Galaxy A52s is a better version of Galaxy A52. Samsung has sold products in most markets outside of North America. The Galaxy A52s is currently receiving the June security patch. The update has now arrived in Europe with Baseband version A528BXXS8GXEA. Hopefully, other markets will also receive the update soon.

The last device on the list is the Galaxy A42 5G - a product that is about to become obsolete but has no successor. Launched in September 2020, the Galaxy A42 5G has been updated with the operating system three times (to Android 13) and this is the fourth year the product has received security updates. The June security patch has arrived in Europe with Baseband version A426BXXS7DXF1.
