Galaxy A series owners will be happy to hear this news. According to SamCafe, Galaxy AI will finally be coming to the Galaxy A series, starting with some 2024 models, namely the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. However, there are a few things you should know.

The Galaxy A series won't get all the Galaxy AI features

First, it's not clear when Galaxy AI will hit the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. The source only said that it will happen with the One UI 6.1.1 update, which could be released for the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 this month or next.

Second, not all Galaxy AI features will be available for the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. It's not clear which features will be cut. However, we're guessing that Samsung will remove anything that requires high processing power on the device.

At the time of writing, the cheapest phone that supports Galaxy AI is the Galaxy S23 FE. However, even that phone doesn’t have Instant Slow-mo, which was one of the first features of Galaxy AI, announced alongside the Galaxy S24 series.

Finally, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A54 are both powered by the Exynos 1380. However, it’s unclear whether Galaxy AI will make it to the Galaxy A54. Samsung may limit Galaxy AI to Galaxy A phones released in 2024 or later.

Samsung is betting big on AI. At its recent Galaxy Unpacked event, the company confirmed that it wants to bring Galaxy AI to more than 200 million Galaxy AI devices, including phones, tablets, and wearables.
