The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 were the first Samsung phones to receive the January 2024 update a week ago. Now, the company's two latest foldable phone models can also download the latest update.

Samsung's January 2024 update is now rolling out to Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 users in Europe. It is codenamed F946BXXS1BWL7 and F731BXXS1BWL7, weighs nearly 400MB, and comes with the January security patch, which fixes more than 80 general security bugs. Google alone accounted for 75 patches.

If you are using Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, you can check by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. For regions other than Europe, users may have to wait a little longer before receiving the new software.
