Galaxy AI can be seen as the result of cooperation between Samsung and Google. The Galaxy S24 series is not only equipped with the Gemini Nano version but also has many features that use Gemini Pro to process data in the cloud. However, Google services are not used much in China.

Since the Galaxy S24 is also sold in China, Samsung used Baidu's AI model to replace Google Gemini. This chatbot named Ernie AI will be behind AI features such as real-time translation and note Assistant... In its official announcement, Baidu said:

โ€œNow, with Ernie's ability to understand and create, Samsung Note Assistant is upgraded to be able to translate content and summarize long content into clear, intelligently organized formats at the touch of a button, rationalize the organization of expanded documents.โ€

The latest version of Ernie is 4.0, released in October 2023. According to Baidu, this is the most powerful AI model with reading comprehension, reasoning, memory, and creativity capabilities not inferior to GPT-4 of ChatGPT. Ernie currently has 100 million users as of December 2023.
