Samsung thanked the One UI 6.0 Beta Program participants and confirmed they have improved animations in the new beta.
It looks like the One UI 6.0 Beta Program is coming to an end. Samsung has released seven beta builds based on Android 14 for the Galaxy S23 series. Since the first beta of One UI 6.0 was released two months ago, Samsung has continuously improved the speed, smoothness, and reliability of the software with new betas. And recently, the company confirmed some of the improvements they have included in the upcoming beta.
The One UI 6.0 Beta program may be coming to an end. The stable version will be released soon.
Samsung posted on its official forum that it will improve a few aspects with the upcoming beta of One UI 6.0 based on feedback from program participants and members of the community.
Samsung has added date and time to the quick panel as well as improved the visibility of icons and text here. Additionally, Samsung reduced the size of app icons on the Home screen and apps screen. The company also confirmed that it has improved the app's opening and closing animations.
Additionally, Samsung has fixed a bug that caused the media player widget's state to not be remembered on the lock screen and notification panel when expanded.
With One UI 6.0, Samsung introduced new designs for emojis. However, users feedback that their colors and resolution are not good enough. Therefore, the company has improved the color and detail of the emojis. Additionally, the transparency of the back gesture icon has also been changed.
Finally, Samsung thanks the participants of the One UI 6.0 Beta Program. It looks like Samsung is already testing One UI 6.0 in full. Therefore, we may soon see the stable version of One UI 6.0 based on Android 14 released in the near future, at least for the Galaxy S23 series.
