Samsung's Galaxy A14 5G is getting a new software update that includes the December 2024 security patch, which fixes several security bugs.

The update is currently rolling out to the SM-A146M – the Galaxy A14 5G variant for Central and South America. The new baseband version is A146MUBU8CXL3. Other variants will also be updated soon.

If you have a Galaxy A14 5G, your device will send a notification when the update is available for download. Alternatively, you can check manually by navigating to Settings → Software update → Download and install.

The Galaxy A14 5G is currently receiving quarterly updates. Additionally, it will be updated to One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 with many new features.

I expect Samsung to roll out One UI 7.0 after the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event where they will unveil the Galaxy S25 series. The company will prioritize its high-end products first, followed by mid-range and low-end devices. So, stay tuned to us so you don’t miss any breaking news about One UI 7.0!
