Both products of the latest flagship series Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ have much better performance than their predecessors when equipped with Exynos 2400 processors in most countries around the world. To know how powerful this chip is, let's learn about its performance with SamCafe when compared to its competitors Apple, MediaTek, and Qualcomm.

Exynos can compete with rivals Apple A17 Pro, MediaTek Dimensity 9300, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

Exynos 2400 is Samsung's latest chip with powerful Ray Tracing (ray tracing technology). The 3DMark SolarBay test measured a device's ray tracing performance, and the Exynos 2400 had the best score. It scored 8,642 points and consumed 9.3W of power. Meanwhile, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scored 8,601 points but consumed 11.7W of power. Exynos is the most powerful and efficient processor for ray tracing performance in games. The Eclipse 940 GPU based on AMD's RDNA 3 architecture looks well-suited for ray tracing. YouTuber Golden Reviewer conducted these tests.

In the 3DMark Wildlife Extreme test, the Exynos 2400 performed better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but lower than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300. This benchmark tests the GPU's graphics performance under sustained load and is the most widely used benchmark. Most sought after by technology enthusiasts. It's more power efficient than the Dimensity 9300 but less efficient than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. So it looks like Samsung has made significant progress compared to the Exynos 2200.

In GFXBench 3.1 1080P Offscreen, the Exynos 2400 performs better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but not as good as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Dimensity 9300. Exynos 2400 performance is better than Apple A16 Bionic and Dimensity 9300 and it is as good as Dimensity 9200 and Snapdragon 8 + Gene 1.

Finally, in the GFXBench Aztec test using the Vulkan API on Android devices and the Metal API on Apple devices, the Exynos 2400 performed better than the Apple A16 Bionic, Dimensity 9200, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but equal to the Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, its performance is close to Dimensity 9200, better than Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and almost double that of Exynos 2100 and Exynos 2200.
