Samsung has confirmed that the next major version of One UI will launch with the Galaxy S25 in early 2025. However, that doesn't mean users will have to wait until next year to experience One UI 7.0. The company is expected to roll out the One UI 7.0 Beta program to owners of some Galaxy devices soon, in select regions.

While the list of countries receiving the One UI 7.0 Beta has not been officially announced, Samsung has a tradition of rolling out new software testing in select countries. Based on that, we've created a list of countries and regions that are likely to receive the One UI 7.0 Beta.

List of countries eligible for the One UI 7.0 Beta x Android 15 program:

  • China
  • Germany
  • India
  • South Korea
  • Poland
  • United States
  • United Kingdom

The program will start with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. It will then be expanded to 2022 and 2023 flagships, as well as some mid-range phones. Samsung typically rolls out software testing in stages, so Germany, South Korea, and the United States could be the first countries to receive the One UI 7.0 Beta. Other countries may have to wait a week or two.

Are there any other countries that will be added to the list? The above are the countries that have been selected to test new software versions in recent years, so we don't expect much from additional regions getting the One UI 7.0 Beta.

One UI 7.0 is a huge update, possibly Samsung's biggest ever, so it's no surprise that the South Korean company has delayed its release until next year. It also makes sense to launch a major software update alongside the next generation of Galaxy S, as it could draw more attention from users.
