Last week, we reported that Galaxy AI would be coming to select Galaxy A phones in August or September. Today, Samsung confirmed that it will be bringing its advanced AI tools to mid-range phones and tablets.
Circle to Google is the first Galaxy AI feature to arrive on the Galaxy AI phones and Fan Edition (FE) tablets. Samsung announced today that Circle to Google will be coming to the Galaxy A54, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy A35 this month. Surprisingly, the 2023 Galaxy A series is also on the list.
Samsung also confirmed that Circle to Google will be coming to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tablets. However, the company did not reveal when that would happen.
A new way to search on Galaxy phones and tablets
Circle to Google uses Google’s existing platform, namely Google Lens. However, Samsung has integrated the feature and One UI seamlessly with the Galaxy S24 series. Google Lens has been around for years. However, it seems that Samsung and Google’s partnership has helped make the technology more popular.
When Circle to Google landed on the Galaxy A series and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, you could activate the feature on any screen by holding down the Home key or Gesture Suggestion. That’s all it takes to tap or circle an object on the screen you want to learn more about.
“We’re committed to bringing the best of AI to more people, empowering users with the option to be more productive, create more freely, and enjoy richer, more personalized interactions with their devices.”

Will the mid-range Galaxy A phones get other AI features?
Samsung has not mentioned other Galaxy AI features for the Galaxy A series and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. Therefore, we are not sure whether Circle to Google search will be the first and only Galaxy feature they will get.
Circle to Google search is the Galaxy AI feature that Samsung has promoted the most. However, it is not an exclusive feature as Google also offers many Pixel models with similar capabilities. I hope Samsung will bring more Galaxy AI features to its mid-range Galaxy AI phones and tablets in the future.
