Samsung started rolling out Galaxy AI along with One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy S23 series in early April. Galaxy AI is a set of artificial intelligence (AI) features that can change the way you use your phone.
Every feature of Galaxy AI is useful. Of course, their usefulness depends on what you do on your phone. For me, the most utilized Galaxy AI features on my Galaxy S23 are Circle to Search with Google and Creative Wallpapers.
These two AI features make the Galaxy S23 series interesting again
I like using Circle to search with Google and Creative Wallpapers for a variety of reasons. However, both breathe new life into my Galaxy S23.
Circle to Search with Google is an extremely convenient image and text-based search tool developed in partnership between Samsung and Google. This feature is similar to Google Lens but is more seamlessly integrated with One UI.
If I see a photo or text while I'm surfing the net and want to learn more, I now simply hold down the Home button or Gesture Suggestion on the Galaxy S23 and select the desired item.
Meanwhile, while Creative Wallpaper doesn't increase productivity, it does add a lot of color and uniqueness to my Galaxy S23.
With Creative Wallpapers, I can create AI-powered wallpapers for my Galaxy S23 by selecting keywords. This feature is fun, even if it's relatively simple and doesn't let you save or share results.
Samsung also launched One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI for its 2022 and 2021 premium phones. However, the last three years' products only received one AI feature.
