Many users of the Galaxy S24 series have noticed that colors are not reproduced as vividly as the previous generation. More specifically, Samsung offers a Vivid screen mode. However, many reports show that this mode is currently not working correctly. It looks like Samsung is working on an update to give users the ability to manually adjust screen colors.
Samsung finally allows Galaxy S24 users to adjust screen color to their liking
According to Ice Universe, an upcoming update for the Galaxy S24 series will add a manual slider for you to adjust color saturation levels when using Vivid screen mode. The new slider will be called Vividness. This is a great addition for those who are not satisfied with the default Vivid screen mode.
The reporter also said that by just increasing it one notch, the color saturation will be equivalent to the Vivid mode on the Galaxy S23 Utra. If you increase it by two notches, the colors will be reproduced similarly to the Galaxy S21 Ultra's Vivid mode. This may not be something that many people are interested in. However, if you liked the color reproduction of the older generation Galaxy S models, you will love the new update.
Currently, it is still unclear when Galaxy S24 series users will receive the above update. According to information from the tipster, the update may be coming soon. If so, you won't have to wait too long.
