Previous reports have suggested that Samsung is working on a new budget smartphone, dubbed the Galaxy A06. The design of the phone was recently revealed in a series of renders.

Today, reliable leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed the full specifications of the Galaxy A06 through a post on social media X.

The latest leak reveals that the Galaxy A06 will feature a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chip, a familiar chip commonly found in budget devices.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy A06 has a dual-camera system on the back, including a 50MP main sensor, accompanied by a 2MP camera for depth measurement when taking portrait photos. On the front, it has an 8MP sensor for users to take selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy A06 packs an impressive 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 14 and gets 2 major Android updates and 4 years of security patches. It measures 167.3 x 77.3 x 8mm and weighs 196 grams. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button on the side and Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced data protection.

Last but not least, the Galaxy A06 packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage options. There's a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of storage and a single speaker with Dolby Atmos support.
