There are only a few months left until the first beta of One UI 7.0 (based on Android 15) is released. There is currently very little information about the new software. A new leak claims that Apple's iOS 18 will be the main inspiration for One UI 7.0 along with Xiaomi's HyperOS.
One UI 7.0 is rumored to feature new icons and Quick Panels like those of iOS 18
Previously, it was reported that One UI 7.0 will have two new features: App Lock and Vertical Scrolling App Screen. Now, @chunvn8888 claims that a lot of the user interface elements of One UI 7.0 will be inspired by Apple's iOS 18 and Xiaomi's HyperOS. The next big version of One UI is said to feature rounder icons with a 3D look similar to macOS and visionOS.
One UI 7.0's Quick Panel appears to look similar to iOS 18's Control Center. The buttons in the Quick Panel are circular and can be rearranged. According to the report, the new Gallery app icon will have a white background and colorful flowers similar to the iOS 18 Photos app icon. The keys on the lock screen are also more rounded.
The notification screen and Quick Panel now have two separate pages. The first page displays notifications, while the second page contains quick settings keys. Similar to HyperOS, you can quickly switch between two pages by swiping left and right.
According to the report, the Camera app's user interface is also getting an overhaul. The quick camera settings keys will be moved from the top to the bottom (when the phone is held in portrait orientation). There will be a shortcut to expand and display the quick settings keys.
