If nothing changes, Samsung will launch its next trio of flagships, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra early next year.
News about this new Galaxy S series has been shared a lot. The phones have been detected on GSMA's IMEI database along with their model number.
This year's Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra have model numbers S911B/DS, SM-S916B/DS, and SM-S918B/DS, respectively. While on the IMEI database, Galaxy S24 was found to have model number SM-S921B/DS. The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra are listed with model numbers SM-S926B/DS and SM-S928B/DS respectively. The appearance of the Galaxy S24 series on IMEI confirms that these devices have gone through the testing process and are expected to be on the market in Q1 of 2024.

The Samsung Galaxy S24+ US variant has recently appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 8GB RAM, and Android 14 OS. According to multiple reports, the Galaxy S24 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset. 3 and Exynos 2400 are yet to be announced depending on the markets they land in. Plus and Ultra variants can be upgraded to 65W fast charging thanks to battery stacking technology.
The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra have 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh batteries, respectively. The Ultra variant is also rumored to have a 3x telephoto camera with 50MP resolution.
