Samsung has started rolling out the June 2024 security update for the Galaxy S21 series. The new software is now available for download in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Other regions will also receive the update soon.

The new update for the Galaxy S21 series is now available to download in several Asian countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, Philippines and Ukraine. The new software has also landed in the Caucasus region. The Baseband version of the update for this region is G99xBXXSBGXEC.
In the United States, the locked Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are receiving new software with Baseband version G99xUSQSBGXF1. Unlocked devices also receive the update with Baseband version G99xU1UESBGXF1.
The June 2024 software update fixed 59 security vulnerabilities found in Android and One UI. There are no new features or performance improvements with the new software.

If you own the Galaxy S21 series and live in any of the regions mentioned above, you can check to see if the new update has arrived on your device. Just navigate to the Settings app → Software Update → Download and install.
The Galaxy S21 series came pre-installed with Android 11 when it first launched in 2021. They were upgraded to Android 12 at the end of 2021, Android 13 at the end of 2022, and Android 14 at the end of 2023. Recently, the Galaxy S21 series was upgraded to One UI 6.1 with a few Galaxy AI features.
