After releasing One UI 6.0 Beta for the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung now continues to roll out the update to Galaxy S21 users in Korea.
The One UI 6.0 Beta update based on Android 14 is now available for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, including international versions as well as KT, LGU+, and SKT carriers. This is a large update at over 2.5GB in size, so if you intend to download the update, use a Wi-Fi connection for uninterrupted installation.
Galaxy S21 users in Korea can install One UI 6.0 Beta by accessing the Samsung Members app, and clicking on the One UI 6.0 Beta advertising banner to sign up for the testing program. The update will then be available for download under Settings > Software update > Download and Install. It's unclear whether Samsung will release the accompanying September 2023 security patch or not.
In other eligible countries such as China, Germany, India, Poland, the UK, and the US, the update may be available in the next few days. One UI 6.0 Beta brings many new features and improvements, including a redesigned quick settings panel, better lock screen customization, and more.
