Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A55 - its latest mid-range phone model. Thanks to that, the Galaxy A55 became the first Samsung phone model to receive the July 2024 update.

It's been a long time since the last time the Galaxy A55 was updated. Products are eligible for monthly updates. However, for some reason, Samsung was not able to keep its promise.

Galaxy A55 supports seamless updates, allowing users to use the device once the update is installed. This may be the reason why Samsung cannot follow the schedule. However, the company has not yet made any confirmation.

Update Seven for the Galaxy A55 in India has a Baseband version of A556EXXS4AXF6. It is still unclear when the update will arrive in other markets. However, you won't have to wait long.

The new update doesn't add anything new other than bug fixes. The July 2024 update patches 25 vulnerabilities discovered in Android and 33 vulnerabilities that only affect Galaxy devices. You can read more in this article.
