Samsung has just released a new software update for the Galaxy A25. The October 2024 security update patches over 40 security vulnerabilities.
Currently, Samsung is rolling out the update to the Galaxy A26 that it sells in Europe, which has the model number SM-A256B. The update has already been rolled out in France, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Switzerland, and the UK.
The baseband version of the update is A256BXXS6BXJ1. To download and install the update manually, navigate to Settings → Software update → Download and install.
The Galaxy A25 is eligible for One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 – which Samsung is working on. However, this is a budget phone. Samsung will roll out One UI 7.0 to it after the update has reached its premium and mid-range Galaxy devices.
