There are about six months left before the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be released. However, there have been many rumors about the product. Recently, a veteran reporter just revealed the design changes of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
@UniverseIce has stated on X that the product will have a โbodyโ 8.4mm thick. For comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is 8.6mm thick. If so, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be the thinnest Galaxy Ultra model since the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (8.1mm).
The source also reaffirmed a previous claim that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will look less square, saying the product has rounded corners like the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7. If so, Samsung will end the tradition of using a square design language for the Galaxy Ultra line. Hopefully, Samsung will not use a curved screen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra like the Galaxy Note 7.
We hope Samsung will not trade off any configuration, durability, or features for the new thinness, after all, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is not much thinner than its predecessor.
Previously, it was rumored that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would be equipped with a 3x 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera. Therefore, the imaging capabilities of the secondary cameras can be significantly increased.
