Exynos 1580, Samsung's upcoming chipset, expected to be equipped on the Galaxy A56 model, has suddenly appeared on the Geekbench database. Notably, leaked information shows that Samsung's upcoming chipset will have performance equivalent to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chip.
Accordingly, Exynos 1580, codenamed Santa, has achieved 1,046 points in single-core and 3,678 points in multi-core on Geekbench 5. These numbers show that the performance of the Exynos 1580 is equivalent to high-end chipsets such as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 and Samsung's own Exynos 2100. Compared to the previous generation, Exynos 1480, the new chipset shows a clear improvement in single-core and multi-core performance, increasing by 17% and 9% respectively. However, the performance of Exynos 1580 is still not comparable to the most advanced chipsets today.
Based on the launch cycle of the Galaxy A5x series, the Galaxy A56 is likely to be introduced in the spring of 2025. At that time, the actual performance of the Exynos 1580 will be more clearly verified.
In Vietnam, the Galaxy A55 5G is currently the brightest name in the 10 million VND segment, and this device can balance many factors, from design, performance, and screen to camera. In particular, the Exynos 1480 chipset on this device has received many positive responses from users and technology sites. Compared to the previous generation, this chip is manufactured on a newer process and has significantly improved performance. Moreover, the Galaxy A55 also provides better gaming capabilities, the temperature is also cooler and no longer as hot as before.
