Some Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra users are complaining about the device's screen having blue stripes. There may also be a white stripe running across the screen. On Samsung's community forum, user Qu1JcMmaCO complained that his Galaxy S24 Ultra screen appeared blue vertical stripes and white horizontal stripes.

The stripes appeared while he was watching YouTube. This error persists even when the device is restarted. The user called Samsung Care+ and although the company admitted that it was a manufacturing defect, Samsung would not exchange the old device for a new one and insisted that the device be returned and then repurchased. As a result, any discount he received for pre-ordering was completely lost. Samsung eventually asked phone owners to complain to T-Mobile.

The problem here is that his Galaxy S24 Ultra is locked to the T-Mobile network. Samsung is the correct party here in saying that this is T-Mobile's responsibility since the phone is sponsored by them. If this phone is not network-locked, the responsibility will be that of the manufacturer.

On Reddit, a Galaxy S24 Ultra owner had the same problem and was informed by Samsung that it would not be responsible because it was a “Verizon issue.” Again, since this phone was purchased from Verizon, Samsung is the right one. The first Verizon store he visited tried to blame the owner. He then went to another Verizon store and was told by a representative that Verizon would do everything possible “to escape any responsibility for providing a warranty.”

He ended up buying another Galaxy S24 Ultra from Verizon while returning the old one that was defective. The only problem is that the defective device was bought back through the trade-in program. Therefore, he is worried that Verizon will bother him again in the future.
