Samsung is developing at least two new low-cost phone models. According to GalaxyClub, the company is currently internally testing the Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A06, the successors of the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A05.

Currently, Samsung is testing a 5G variant of the Galaxy A16 with model number SM-A166B. LTE option not yet discovered. With 5G networks becoming more and more popular around the world, it is likely that Samsung will skip the 4G option this year.

In contrast, Samsung is testing the 4G option of the Galaxy A06 with model number SM-A065M. Since the Galaxy A0x is the cheapest model in the Galaxy A series, it is likely that Samsung will not develop a 5G option. However, it is still unclear whether Samsung is developing the Galaxy A06s or not.

Regarding configuration, we currently do not have any information. Also, we don't know when they will be released. Galaxy A05 was officially announced in September last year, while Galaxy A15 was launched in December of the same year. Samsung may have a similar schedule for the Galaxy A06 and Galaxy A16.
