One UI 6.1 will apparently offer generative Al models for the Samsung Keyboard to help you type better.
The upcoming One UI 6.1 looks bigger than I thought it would. A few weeks ago, there were reports that the update would bring many AI features. Recently, we learned about some new AI features of One UI 6.1.
A new leak shows that One UI 6.1 will add generative AI to the Samsung Keyboard. The feature was recently discovered as part of the company's Remote Labs, which allows developers to test the latest update. You can watch the video below to see the major language models the Galaxy device will support.
As you can see, One UI 6.1 will support many major language models, including PaLM 2, ChatGPT 4, Gecko, and Scs. Alternatively, you can choose to operate the model entirely on the device.
Currently, we are not sure what function these large language models will serve in Samsung Keyboard on One UI 6.1. However, it's safe to say the company is working hard to ensure the new AI features reach users next year.
One UI 6.1 will be announced alongside the Galaxy S24 series next month. We don't yet know if the new AI features will make their way to older devices.
