While the One UI 6.1.1 rollout for Samsung's Galaxy devices is still far from complete, the company is still pushing ahead with One UI 7.0 for a release later this year. Not only that, it seems that the company has also started working on One UI 7.1 for the Galaxy S25.

Some users have spotted the existence of One UI 7.1 on Samsung's servers. This is an update for the US-based Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938U) with the model number S938USQU0AXH4. There's not much information about One UI 7.1 at the moment, but it's likely that Samsung will bring new AI features.

The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are expected to come in two variants using Exynos 2500 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra will only use Qualcomm chips globally. The Exynos 2500 is a 3nm (3GAP) chip manufactured by Samsung Foundry. It will be a deca-core processor with 1x Cortex-X5 core, five Cortex-A730 cores, and four Cortex-A520 cores. It may feature a more powerful RDNA-based Xclipse 950 GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, the processor is said to feature two Oryon CPU cores clocked at 4GHz and six power-efficient cores clocked at 2.8GHz. This makes the chipset 35% faster in single-core CPU tests and 30% faster in multi-core CPU tests than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Unlike the current models, the Galaxy S25 series may feature a rounded corner design on all models. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a slightly larger display than its predecessor thanks to significantly thinner bezels. Unfortunately, Samsung doesn't seem to have upgraded the battery capacity or fast charging speed for this device.
