After the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy S22 series has finally started receiving One UI 6.1.1. This update brings a few improvements and new features to Galaxy AI in particular and One UI in general. The update is currently rolling out in South Korea and will soon reach other countries and territories in the near future.

The Galaxy S22 series in South Korea gets a few new features with One UI 6.1.1

One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra is now available in South Korea. The update has the baseband version S90xNKSU5EXH7 and the download size is over 2.8GB.

If you own a Galaxy S22 series phone and are living in South Korea, you can manually download the new update to your device by navigating to Settings โ†’ Software update โ†’ Download and install.

In addition to the new features, the update also includes the September 2024 security patch for these 2.5-year-old phones. One UI 6.1.1 will be coming to other countries and regions in the near future.
