Samsung has now rolled out the January 2025 security patch, starting with the Galaxy S24 series and now extending it to the Galaxy Z Flip 6. This is a significant update that addresses security vulnerabilities, improving the safety and performance of the device.
The US versions of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, including both carrier-locked and unlocked models, have now started receiving this update. The corresponding software versions are F741USQS2AXLF (for carrier-locked models) and F741U1UES2AXLF (for unlocked models).
If you are using a Galaxy Z Flip 6, check for and install the new update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Samsung is expected to continue expanding this security patch to other variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, including international models, in the coming days. At the same time, Galaxy Z Flip 6 is also on the list of devices eligible to receive the One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15, which promises to bring many new features and improvements.
