According to previous reports, Samsung is developing a low-cost Galaxy A16 5G phone to introduce to users soon in the near future.
It is known that this smartphone was recently tested by a Korean company using Geekbench software. Interestingly, it appeared with two different chipsets, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and Samsung Exynos 1330. Now, through China's 3C certification, we have information about the battery of this smartphone.
The latest leak shows that the Galaxy A16 5G will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. This is not surprising because that is the current de facto standard for most Android smartphones.
Two versions of the Galaxy A16 5G, with two different SoCs, are likely to launch in different markets, although it is unclear what Samsung will gain from this strategy. Speculators are speculating that the Exynos variant will be headed to Asia and/or Africa, but there is no confirmation yet.
The Galaxy A16 is likely to go official in December if we are to follow recent rumors. Hopefully, more information about the smartphone will be shared in the coming days.
