Samsung is currently busy rolling out software updates to eligible Galaxy devices. Not only does it have to roll out One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 to its older foldables and tablets (and other high-end phones if rumors are true), but it also has One UI 7.0 based on Android 15. While One UI 7.1 is still a ways off, leaks and rumors about the software have already started to emerge.
In a new post on X, @IceUniverse revealed that One UI 7.1 will bring major improvements as part of the Galaxy S25 lineup.
To be honest, weโre not surprised at all, as every new version of One UI brings major improvements. However, the fact that the leaker himself said so suggests that One UI 7.1 could include more upgrades than usual. If so, this is great news for Samsung fans.
The tipster also said that One UI 7.0 will focus on delivering super smooth animations, confirming a previous rumor. Samsung was supposed to release the first beta version of One UI 7.0 last week. However, that didnโt happen. According to the new rumor, the company will release One UI 7.0 in the third week of this month.
