Samsung is doing a great job in releasing One UI 6.0 for its devices. In just a short time, a lot of Galaxy smartphones and tablets have received a major update based on Android 14. Notably, many mid-range devices such as Galaxy A34, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A73, and Galaxy M53 have also upgraded to One UI 6.0. Now, the company continues to roll out this update for its low-cost phone model, Galaxy A14.
This is a big surprise because usually, low-cost devices receive new software later after they have been rolled out for most high-end and mid-range devices. Even though the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 lines have not yet reached all users, the Galaxy A14 can already download the latest One UI 6.0 update.
The update for Galaxy A14 5G codenamed A146BXXU2CWK9 started rolling out in India. It is around 1.8GB in size and comes with Samsung's November 2024 patch which improves stability and fixes many system security bugs. Users of this device in other countries and regions, as well as the LTE version, will also soon receive One UI 6.0 in the next few days.
To check for new updates, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and install. One UI 6.0 brings many new features and enhancements for a better user experience, including a newly designed quick panel, lock screen upgrades, My Files, reminders, video player, Gallery, camera, etc.
