Samsung is pushing the rollout of One UI 6.1 to many of its older premium phone models. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series were the first devices to receive this update, now it's the turn of Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Flip 4, Galaxy Fold 3, and Galaxy Flip 3 users to have fun with the new features from Galaxy AI.
One UI 6.1 was launched with the Galaxy S24 with many valuable improvements, including an unprecedented set of AI features. Soon after, it was also rolled out to Galaxy S23 users at the end of March, followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy S23 FE, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series. A few days ago, there was news that Samsung will release One UI 6.1 for high-end devices in 2021 and 2022. The rumors have come true.
Like the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series, Samsung's older foldable models have now started receiving One UI 6.1 in Korea. The latest update for Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are codenamed F936NKSU2FXDC, F721NKSU2FXDC, F926NKSU2IXDC and F711NKSU3IXDC respectively. All are over 2GB in size, so use a Wi-Fi connection before starting to download.
With One UI 6.1, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will receive new AI features from Galaxy S24, including Live Translation, Interpretation, General Editing, Local search, Chat support, Notes support, AI wallpaper, etc. However, some features may not appear on Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Looking ahead, Samsung will continue to roll out One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy Tab S8 series and other eligible mid-range devices such as the Galaxy A54. Some regions may receive the update a few days later, so please wait patiently.
