Samsung is releasing the March 2024 security update for its Galaxy devices. The first device to receive the March security patch was the Galaxy S24, followed by the folding phone models Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4. Now it is ready to be Installed on Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3.

The March 2024 security update has model numbers SM-F926B and SM-F711B for the two devices Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 respectively. It has firmware codes for the two devices respectively F926BXXS6GXBD and F711BXXS7GXBD. The update helps fix 9 software vulnerabilities, bringing safety to users' devices.

Currently, Samsung is rolling out the update in Europe and it will lead to a widespread release in various parts of the world. Your Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Flip 3 will automatically notify you about the update. Alternatively, you can also automatically check manually by going to the Settings app > Software Update > Download and Install.

Both phones will soon receive the One UI 6.1 software update in the coming weeks. We are also eligible to continue receiving Android 15 (One UI 7.0) from Google later this year.
