Galaxy Z Flip 6 was officially launched at the Unpacked event last night in Paris, along with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and many other wearable devices. At first glance, this product has a design no different from its predecessor except that the lens border is painted the same color as the camera body. However, Samsung has brought many internal improvements, such as the photo sensor, battery capacity, and vapor chamber cooling system.
Despite its compact design, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is still equipped with the exclusive Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor like the Galaxy Z Fold 6. And to take advantage of the power of this chip, Samsung for the first time launched Vapor chamber cooling technology on the Z Flip line. Previously, due to their compact design, this product line was often limited in battery capacity, camera resolution, and cooling capabilities.
Samsung said the size of the cooling vapor chamber of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is 1.5 times larger than that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This is a great upgrade that helps users experience the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for long periods of time or at high intensity. The Korean company seems to care a lot about the cooling system on its high-end devices. The Galaxy S24 series launched earlier this year also upgraded the cooling system size to be significantly larger than its predecessor.
The large vapor chamber cooling system along with higher RAM capacity will bring many benefits to Galaxy Z Flip 6 users, from multitasking to gaming. Better heat management also helps protect the battery from overheating, thus extending its life.
