A report from Pricebaba reveals that they have discovered a new Samsung tablet with model number SM-X115 on the FCC listing. The listing also confirms the name of this tablet as Galaxy Tab A9. It will support 5G, Wi-Fi, FM, GPS, Bluetooth, etc. Samsung will equip the tablet with a 5,100 mAh battery, supporting 15W fast charging technology.

In addition, data from the FCC shows that the Galaxy Tab A9 will be 210.7mm long and 124.7mm wide. The tablet will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type C charging port. Another report confirms that the Tab A9 has also been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance with model number SM-X110.

In terms of design, Samsung's upcoming low-cost tablet is said to have a single camera on the back. As the name suggests, this is the successor to the Galaxy Tab A8 launched in December 2021.

To recall, the Galaxy Tab A8 was launched with a 10.5-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1,200 x 1,920 pixels, using an aspect ratio of 16:10 and occupying 81.1% of the front area. Inside, this tablet uses Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset, comes with Mali G52 MP2 GPU, has 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage.

Samsung also equips the Galaxy Tab A8 with an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP selfie camera that supports 1080p @ 30fps video recording. It has a large 7,040 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.
