Previous reports have suggested that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S24 FE in October with a design that is said to be similar to the S23 FE.
Today, the new Fan Edition phone has been spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench, and it has some key specifications.
Geekbench data shows that the Galaxy S24 FE is equipped with an s5e9945 motherboard and a 10-core CPU. One of the CPU cores clocked at 3.11 GHz. Geekbench also reveals that this variant has 8GB of RAM, scoring 1,625 and 5,698 points in single/multi-core tests. The chipset that powers the phone is powered by the Xclipse 940 GPU.
Based on this information, insiders believe that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S24 FE with a clocked variant of the Exynos 2400 chip, which could be called the Exynos 2400e. To recall, the Exynos 2400 has a Cortex-X4 main core clocked at 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.9 GHz, three other cores clocked at 2.6 GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 1.95 GHz.
You can see that the Cortex-A720 and Cortex-X4 cores of the Exynos 2400e are rumored to run at a slightly lower clock speed. This should result in a slight performance hit, but it should also help keep the device running cooler. The Galaxy S24 FE is also rumored to have a 4,565 mAh battery and run on Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1 out of the box.
