As you know, Samsung's latest security patch will appear on smartphone devices a few weeks before the One UI 6.1 software is updated. To date, Samsung has started releasing the January 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 FE.
Galaxy S23 FE receives January 2024 security patch in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America
The January 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S23 FE is now available in select regions. In Brazil, the device will be updated with firmware version S711BXXS2BWL6. In the Caucasus region, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and other countries in Europe, the new software update carries firmware version S711BXXS2BWL7. Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Tunisia, and Turkey, the update will come with firmware version S711BXXS2BWL8.
If you live in one of the above countries and own a Galaxy S23 FE, you can check and update this new security patch. On your mobile phone, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and install.
This new update will fix about 75 security bugs found in the previous version. Galaxy S23 FE comes pre-installed with Android 13 in some countries and runs on Android 14 out of the box in some other countries. It will continue to receive four more Android OS updates in the future.
