The November 2024 security update for Galaxy products has not been rolling out smoothly. Samsung has been slow to roll out the update to many new and old Galaxy phones. Fortunately, it seems like the company is finally picking up the pace as December approaches.

As of today, the November update is rolling out to the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A34 with baseband versions A336BXXSCEXK1 and A346BXXU9CXK1, respectively. There are over 50 security vulnerabilities patched. For the Galaxy A34, the update also includes reliability improvements.

The update has already landed in Europe at the time of writing. It is unclear when the update will be released in other markets, as Samsung has been taking longer than usual to roll out security updates globally. The Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A34 may not be an exception.

If the update is available in your country, your phone will notify you. But if you're impatient, you can manually check if there's a new update available by opening the Settings app, selecting Software update, and tapping Download and install.
